Blue Devils News · Spring Senior Spotlight – Kenna Loveless

Tallmadge Athletics will be running a Senior Spotlight series on our spring senior athletes to honor their dedication and commitment to Tallmadge High School and its athletic programs. Today, we recognize Kenna Loveless who is a member of our track team!

1.) Track & Field Events:  3200, 1600, 4×800

2.) Favorite subject in school:  Science

3.) Person that has had the biggest impact on me:  My parents: I have definitely inherited their love for running, and they’ve taught me so much about the sport. Without their constant support or encouragement to work hard, I wouldn’t have accomplished what I did.

4.) Favorite restaurant:  Cheesecake Factory

5.) If I could have lunch with one person it would be:  Emma Coburn or Colleen Quigley: They are both Olympian 3000m steeplechasers; I’ve looked up to them and watched them race for a long time! I’d love to hear any advice they have for me.

6.) Favorite musician:  Blackbear

7.) Favorite book:  The Messenger by Markus Zusak

8.) Quote to live by:  “You must be prepared to work always without applause” – Ernest Hemingway

9.) Advice I have for underclassmen:  In this sport, you get out of it exactly what you put in. Work hard, but don’t forget to have fun and enjoy it!

10.) Best high school memory competing in track & field:  Our 4×800 team qualifying for regionals; qualifying for State in the 3200; and going to Buca di Beppo with the State Qualifiers!

11.) My plans after high school:  I plan on attending Ohio University to pursue a degree in Exercise Physiology and run cross country and track.

Thank you Kenna for the time and energy that you devote as a student-athlete to Tallmadge High School and its great community!  Your involvement is one of the many factors that make Tallmadge something great to be a part of!
