Tallmadge Athletics will be running a Senior Spotlight series on our spring senior athletes to honor their dedication and commitment to Tallmadge High School and its athletic programs. Today, we recognize Morgan Moses who is a member of our track team!
1.) Track & Field Events: High jump, 100H, 300H, 4×400
2.) Favorite subject in school: History
3.) Person that has had the biggest impact on me: Coach Staszak has had the biggest impact on me when it comes to track because at the end of my Sophomore year he forced me to run 300H which gave me my favorite and best event.
4.) Favorite restaurant: Cheesecake Factory
5.) If I could have lunch with one person it would be: If I could have lunch with one person it would be Patrick Mahomes because he’s super good at what he does and I just want to meet him.
6.) Favorite musician: Dan + Shay
7.) Favorite book: The Best of Me by Nicholas Sparks
8.) Quote to live by: “Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.”
9.) Advice I have for underclassmen: None of us were expecting this year to get cut short, especially all of the seniors. So as you go through the rest of high school try and make the best out it, there will be times where you’re frustrated with classes, sports, or clubs, but when you look back on these 4 years, overall they will be some of the best times of your life.
10.) Best high school memory competing in track & field: My best memory competing in track and field was at the Triway Invitational my Junior year. I was still kind of new at 300H and I got my PR, Coach Staszak was so proud of me and I got to ring the bell at the meet.
11.) My plans after high school: I will attend Kent State University and major in Middle Childhood Education.
Thank you Morgan for the time and energy that you devote as a student-athlete to Tallmadge High School and its great community! Your involvement is one of the many factors that make Tallmadge something great to be a part of!
Go Blue Devils!
