Blue Devils News · 2020 HS Fall Sports Recognition Ceremony

Blue Devil Fall Athletes & Families,

The High School Fall Sports Recognition Ceremony will be held VIRTUALLY on Tuesday, November 17th at 6:30 pm via Google Meet.

There are two parts to the recognition ceremony; the all-sports ceremony followed by the sport-specific ceremonies.

A.) All-Sports Ceremony:  This year the all-sports ceremony will be posted to the Tallmadge Athletics web site for anyone to view. It will NOT be part of the virtual recognition ceremony on November 17th. See the attached document below regarding the all-sports ceremony information:

2020-21 Fall Sports Recognition – All-Sports Ceremony

B.) Sport-Specific Ceremonies:  Each sport will conduct its own sport-specific recognition ceremony via Google Meet starting at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, November 17th. Head coaches will be reaching out to their athletes soon with the link to access the meeting. The intent is for all student-athletes to use their Chromebooks to attend the ceremony along with their parents. All of the ceremonies will be conducted at the same time so that all athletes, parents, and winter coaches can set their schedule around the date (especially for our fall athletes playing a winter sport that will need to attend practice on the 17th).

All awards will be distributed to the athletes by the Athletic Office during their lunch/Academy periods in the days following the recognition ceremony. This will be done over two days to account for the Blue/Gold schedule. Any athletes that are online students will receive their awards through the mail (if certificates only). If an online athlete has received a plaque then he/she will need to schedule a time with the Athletic Office to come pick up his/her certificate(s) and plaque(s).

If you have any questions regarding the Fall Sports Recognition Ceremony, please contact the Athletic Office at (330) 633-6956.

Go Blue Devils!
